Pickleball Lambeth
Building a brand. Pickleball Lambeth is a community sporting group based in South London. This project was fun and engaging because I was able to influence the design of the brand at the early stages. This included the logo. The idea of the logo is to channel the American theming which is prevalent among the pickleball community while embracing bright colourful complimentary and contrasting colours. The selected typeface also channels a sense of nostalgia while also adding a modern engaging touch.
Accessibility. The brief for this client was to increase accessibility for existing members while also expanding new members and ultimately awareness and visibility of the sport within the city. We achieved this through creating posts which show the schedule as well as contact information and addresses.
Education. The educational element is a theme throughout with graphic design engaging players both new and existing.
Building a community. ‘The page’ has become a community-sharing platform with a series of images from each session being published regularly, helping to engage existing members of the community while encouraging new members to join up. The outreach strategy is predominantly achieved through reels which are engaging with fast-paced exciting content.
