Koln Concert 50
Koln Concert 50 is an event which is taking place in January 2025 and seeks to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Keith Jarrett's live improvisational album recorded in Köln in 1975.
Demographic targeting
The client’s aim was to gain new ticket buyers through creating new content targeted towards a younger demographic. This was achieved through creating new logos and typefaces in order to convey both the heritage of the event and also its contemporary cultural relevance. The bright colours of the posts help draw in viewers and increase engagement, while also playing to the contemporary styling of Charli XCX and her ‘BRAT’ album which we admire. Engaging with the trend while keeping a sense of authenticity, these posts use a contrasting colour pallet which will be used throughout the run of the promotion.
Education and introductions
The goal of this project is to introduce audiences who are not aware of the importance of Keith Jarrett's influential performance. Through pinned posts and reels, this goal is achieved. Similarly, a key component of this project was to introduce Dorian Ford, the performer, this was achieved through letting his unique personality shine in reels creating a sort of persona that would be intriguing to people and draw them in, ultimately increasing ticket sales.
